"I have never forgotten what that bed felt like. It was the best bed and best sleep I have ever had!!! I would give anything to sleep that well again. Thank you so, so, much." - Karen Calamia
Located on Washington's Pacific coast, the Long Beach Peninsula is an amazing destination. Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, Willapa Bay and Columbia River it becomes a relaxing seaside escape.
Lighthouses, military forts, museums and interpretive centers bring to life the Peninsula's history. Leadbetter Point, the Willapa National Wildlife Refuge, Cape Disappointment State Park, the Ilwaco Marina, and public beaches offer kayaking, beach combing, bird watching, hiking, fishing charters, clam digging, horseback riding and kite flying. Strolling the Long Beach Boardwalk and the Discovery Trail, both within blocks of the Inn, are also favorite pastimes.
Celebrations and festivals include the Bluegrass Festival in March, the annual August Washington State International Kite Festival, the Stunt Kite Competition in June, SandSations Sand Sculpture competition in July, the Northwest Garlic Festival, The Annual Mushroom Celebration in October and November, and 'Ocian in View', a highly acclaimed annual Lewis & Clark event held annually on Veterans Day weekend.
