Nestled in the dunes of Long Beach, with property extending towards the Pacific Ocean, this picturesque & historic 120 year-old cottage is surrounded by a lawn with a white picket fence reminiscent of Cape Cod. The cottage sleeps no more than six people. There are two bedrooms with queen beds and hypoallergenic featherbed on top and a third bedroom with a doublebed and featherbed. A full-sized futon couch can sleep two in the living room. (Bring a sleeping bag for the futon!) The single bathroom features an old fashioned bear-claw tub with large showerhead for wonderful soaking and relaxation. A covered porch borders the cottage on the south and west sides. Though a romantic spot for just two, it is perfect for families. Pets are allowed by pre-arrangement. You’ll appreciate the convenience of the fully equipped kitchen, fresh towels and linens, and a small TV & DVD player in the living room which receives some basic cable stations. Walk the Boreas Dunes Path to the beach, listen to the sounds of the ocean at night. Walk a few blocks to town, on the Dunes Trail or Boardwalk. Whether you’re visiting during our beautiful summers or our infamous stormy winters, you will enjoy the exclusive privacy of this lovely little hideaway. There is no smoking allowed in the cottage. Rent is $140 per night or $925  per week with a two night minimum and one week minimum in the summertime. There is a $50 non-refundable cleaning fee and a pet fee of  $25 per pet, also non-refundable.  10.8%  tax is added on to the total.  The cottage sleeps six and again, no smoking is allowed indoors. On June 15, 2008, the rates will increase to $150 or $995 per week. The Yett Beach House is separate from Boreas B&B, therefore breakfast and use of the Boreas spa are not included. Policies A valid credit card number or a deposit is required to secure your reservation. Payment in full is expected after check-in. We have a 45 day cancellation notice policy--a longer cancellation notice policy may apply to holidays, special events or longer stays. Tariffs are subject to change. There is a two night minimum stay but longer minimums apply to holidays and special events.We give preference to one week or longer minimums during the summer and will fill in around those stays with shorter stays if necessary. Prices quoted do not include excise and local room tax totally 10.8%. Check-in time is between 4-6 pm or by special arrangement. Please call us if you will be later than 6 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. There is no smoking allowed inside the Yett House. Considerate smoking outside on the decks or in the garden is allowed.
